"Get this on the shelves of every major store in Australia! WOW!!! I bought three bottles of Bluey's hot sauce last week and I'm nearly through it all already! I'm a hot sauce fanatic, I buy lots, all the time, ask my wife... anyway, usually i'll try it, like it, put it in the fridge and maybe go back to it once or twice before it inevitably gets thrown out for "Taking up too much space". That's not going to be an issue with Bluey's sauce, let me tell you. All three bottles go on the table every night! Meatballs, spag bol, taco's, burrito's, pizza, salad, sandwiches, ice cream... you name it, I've put Bluey's hot sauce on it, and I've loved Every. Single. Bite! "Met these guys at a pop up stall at the Toodyay Fibre Festival. The Shartenfreude sauce stood out to me at the tasting. It's got some Malay influence to it, and reminds me a lot of Mi Goreng, and who doesn’t love Me Goreng! This sauce is absolutely delicious. I've only been home less that 24 hours and the bottle is half gone. Goes on Falafels, goes with Tortalini. Wife and daughter approve!"

Pour
Pours easily out of the bottle as it has a thin to medium thick consistency with a bit of body from the very finely blended ingredients. Only the tiniest specks of ingredients are visible in this classic, naturally green looking sauce.

Aroma
When I removed that little cap and took a sniff I was blown away by how good it smelt. First up that irresistible aroma of charred, fire roasted green capsicums straight off the barbie followed by some earthy notes from the green Jalapeño peppers, onion and garlic with the apple cider vinegar, lemon and lime juice adding a fresh citric zing in the end.

Taste
This sauce is so well balanced and all the main flavours seem to come together as one with the first taste. It is vinegar-forward with the zingy notes front and centre from the vinegar-juice combo closely followed by that familiar green hotsauce earthiness and savoury flavour explosion compliments of the green Jalapeños, capsicums, onions, garlic and a perfect salt level. The heat is steady from start to finish with a slight build towards the end when the pepper starts kicking in adding some more heat to the Jalapeños trademark, mild heat level.

Verdict
Wow, I absolutely loved this sauce, perfectly balanced with incredible flavour from the classic green hot sauce ingredients working together to make magic happen. Scores: Heat 5/10 - Flavour 10/10
